What do winter leaves look like?

 In week 3 we went out into the park to collect leaves. We discovered that they come in all different shapes and sizes. Some of us had trouble selecting our best 5 leaves.

 We then did leaf rubbings after discussing what colours we do find in autumn leaves ( not blue!).
What next: Why are the leaves these colours?

 Another question that surfaced was 'Why is the gum tree covered in 'baby ' monarch butterflies?'

House of Bricks with Miss B term 2 week 2

 We were lucky enough to have House of Bricks at school today. The children rotated through 6 different stations making all sorts of interesting 'things'. Some made cars, planes, trees and boats to name a few.

 It was all about giving things ago, staying on task and working together.

 It was Fabulous!!!!!
