What do winter leaves look like?

 In week 3 we went out into the park to collect leaves. We discovered that they come in all different shapes and sizes. Some of us had trouble selecting our best 5 leaves.

 We then did leaf rubbings after discussing what colours we do find in autumn leaves ( not blue!).
What next: Why are the leaves these colours?

 Another question that surfaced was 'Why is the gum tree covered in 'baby ' monarch butterflies?'
